In this post I'm going to talk about the Balearic Islands.
The Balearic Islands are a group of islands in the western Mediterranean Sea, near the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula.
They are divided into five beautiful islands: Menorca, Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera.
Their capital is Palma de Mallorca.
In Palma de Mallorca there is a very beautiful cathedral. You can see the cathedral in the image.

Hi!

In this post I'm going to talk about the extinct and endangered animals.

These are three beautiful animals extinct:

The dodo (extinct from 1681)

The dodo lived on the island of Mauritius.

It was a bird but it didn't fly or swim.
It lived on the ground and ate fruit.

People came from Europe to live on the island.

They ate the dodo but ... it tasted terrible!

So they brought pigs to the island for food.

But the pigs ate the dodos' fruit and the dodos had nothing to eat.

In the end all the dodos died.

The sea cow (extinct from 1768)
The sea cow was a very big mammal.

It was about the size of a minibus and it lived in the freezing water near Alaska.

It didn't have any teeth and it ate very small plants.

People hunted it for food and to make shoes from its skin.

The tiger wolf (extinct from 1936)
The tiger wolf was a very strange and beautiful animal.

It had a head like a wolf, stripes on its back like a tiger, and a pouch for its babies like a kangaroo!

It lived in Australia, on the island of Tasmania.

It ate small animals.

People hunted and killed the tiger wolf.

These animals are in danger of extinction:

The panda.

They eat bamboo.

An adult panda needs to consume 14 kg per day.

The cause of their disappearance is poaching and habitat destruction.

During the 80's lots of bamboo forests in China disappeared with 150 beautiful bears pandas.

The tiger.

There are now only 7000 tigers in the jungle, of the 100,000 that were a century ago.

Their fur is yellow with dark bands.

When the British conquered India, thousands of tigers were killed as a sport in Asia and were killed leading to extinction by poachers, to Chinese medicine, traditional or exotic.

The rhino.

The rhino has short legs and strong, firm has two horns on the front of the nose.
It is dark grey and the only remaining rhinos now live in Africa, but still endangered.

In fact the black rhino extinct faster than any land animal.

Weighs about a ton and can be unexpectedly aggressive.

Has a limited vision and relies on his senses of smell and hearing to remove the intruders.

The rhino is used to meet the demand for medical and horn handle dagger.

The Otter.

Measured up to 180 cm, of which 30 to 40 belong to the tail.

His prized skin has led to almost extinction.
Anything and otters dive to perfection.

Lives in groups more or less numerous, on the Pacific coast of Asia and the U.S. coast from Alaska to California.

It feeds on fish and sea urchins, crabs and even a variety of molluscs.

There are many endangered animals, these are just a few.

Hello!
In this post I'm going to show you the dining room of my grandmother it was before and it's now.
This is the dining room of my grandmother seven years ago.
It had a table with four chairs around and a branch of flowers on the tablecloth, in the center of the table.On the right and on the left of the table, there were two cupboards with different things.There were some chairs next to the furniture, all of them are made of wood and with the seat and the support draped with red color.
To the fund, there was a cupboard with the china that family and friends gave to my grandparents when they married.
Hung on the walls, there were two very nice pictures.
The dining room was full of light because the window was very big.
The window was covered by a few white curtains.
Finally, there was a yellow chandelier hunging over my franny's dining room.

This is the dining room of my grandmother now.
Now there's a carpet in the middle of the dining room in which the table is, with three chairs of wicker around, on the table, there're several things.
To the right there's a corridor with a furniture that has photos above and a mirror and a stool with a vase with flowers, on having spent it we have the door to go out of the dining room.
To the fund there's a cupboard with the new china and the window with curtains of wicker.
And finally, the lamp also of wicker with square form.

Stela's daily routines

Hello!

In this post I'm going to talk about the Stela's daily routines.

Every day when she wakes up, Stela gets up and does her breakfast.

Once she has finished, she tidies her bedroom and a has a shower.

Just when she finishes, she cleans her teeth, washes her face and puts the pajamas in the washing machine.

Later, she puts her clothes on (her jeans and her blue jersey) and does the housework (cleans the windows, the floor, the bathroom, make the beds etc).

To midday, she cooks the lunch, puts the table to eat and has lunch. After eating, she gathers the table and does the washing up.

To rest and to lower the food, she sits down in the sofa and reads the newspaper, a magazine, a comic or a book.

When she has just read, she waters the plants, empties the bin if it's necessary, walks the dog and feeds the dog.

When she finishes, she does her homework, surf the Internet and works with her personal computer.

Then she has tea and if they call her on the phone, she answers and speaks to this person who called her.

When she starts getting dark and the dinner time approaches, she takes her clothes off, puts in the washing machine, has a bath and puts the clean pajamas.
Then she cooks the dinner, lays the table to has dinner, has dinner and puts the dishes in the dishwasher.

Later she watch TV and when she is sleepy, she goes away to the bed, goes to bed and falls asleep.

In Arteixo, there's a Pedestrian Street and a swimming pool.
There're parks, primary schools, high schools, lots of shops,supermakets,cafés,restaurants,an old Spa, old Romanic churches, beautiful beaches ... but there are lots of factories, too!
It's a very big village!
I like the shops in Arteixo.
Arteixo is divided in 13 "parroquias'': Pastoriza, Suevos, Oseiro, Arteixo, Barrañán, Chamín, Sorrizo, Monteagudo, Armentón, Larín, Loureda, Morás and Lañas.
It has lots of inhabitants: 26000.
On Saturdays, there is a typical Galician market in the street.
Arteixo has got 94,5 Km and it is very near the city of A Coruña.

I think that he exixted.

Robin Hood was brave and good.

He was lived in Sherwood Forest in England.

Sherwood Forest is a very old and beautiful forest in the centre of England.

One tree in the forest - the Major Oak - is about 800 years old.

People say that Robin Hood used this tree to hide from the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Robin Hood robbed the rich and then he gave the moneyto the poor.

He defended himself with his arch.

The Robin Hood's helpers are: Little John, Friar Tuck, Will Scarlet and Maid Marian.

Little John was Robin Hood's deputy. He was very tall, strong and kind.

Friar Tuck was very fat and happy. He loved eating! =)

Will Scarlet was Robin Hood's cousin. He was short and he wasn't very strong, but he was brave.

Maid Marian was Robin Hood's true love. She was beautiful and brave.

Nowadays, exist more series on TV and books about the Robin Hood's life.
